covid-19 Catch-Up Recovery Plan
The philosophy of our Recovery Plan focuses on the following elements:
- Supporting well-being of pupils.
- Assessing and identifying gaps in individual and cohort learning.
- Creating tailored interventions to address the gaps identified (especially for DA children).
We have aimed to ensure that all children have accessed the full curriculum immediately upon return from both lockdown periods.
Please find below the action plans that highlight how catch-up funding will be used in our school:

Virtual Access to Bromley Libraries
Although all Bromley libraries are currently closed it is possible to download both eBooks and eAudio books completely free of charge.
To do this you firstly need a Bromley library card and a PIN attached to the card.
For those who do not already have a library card visit the bromley.gov.uk website and click on 'Libraries', scroll down to the box entitled 'Using the Library' and click on 'How to Join and Borrow Items'.
This will take you through to a new website, scroll down and click on 'Join Bromley Libraries'. This will open up a new window with a membership form to fill in. Agree to the terms and conditions and click join. An email will then be sent to you with your library card number on.
Once you have this number you will need to set a PIN. To do this please phone West Wickham Library 9am-5pm any day apart from Wednesday or Sunday on 020 8777 4139.
This card number and PIN will then allow you to borrow eBooks and eAudio from the library app Libby or eMagazines and eComics from RBdigital.
If you then want to become a full member of the library once it reopens you will need to bring in proof of address, and they will then issue you with an actual library card!
All eBooks, eAudio, eMagazines and eComics are free to download to any smart device via either the Libby app for eBooks and eAdudio or RBdigital for eMagazines and eComics. Both apps are available from iTunes and Google play.
